Design and Engineering of The Wallaby Eye Scanner

What we achieved

Design

We worked with TeleMedC to design an eye scanner that was able to stand out in the crowded and very clinical eye scanner market. The Wallaby was chosen as a muse.

Engineering

We worked with various partners - from electronics to fabrication to build the TeleMedC Eye Scanner from the ground up. TeleMedC took charge of the software portions of the build.

Manufacturing

We were able to produce 10 pieces to test the market and get feedback from users.

TeleMedC is a diagnostic imaging solutions company aiming to provide a low-cost fully automated eye scanning solution. The Wallaby is one of many hardware solutions they are developing.

We worked with TeleMedC as an outsourced design and engineering firm. However, our easy communication style and agility in operations enabled us to operate more as an in-house team for TeleMedC.

Our agility and creativity allowed us to form a long-term partnership with TeleMedC encompassing all aspects of industrial design. We are working with them on continuous development of the Wallaby and many other products.
