Waffletron
Design, engineering and marketing an automated waffle maker
What we achieved
The Waffletron is an internal project that was developed in response to problems we saw in bakeries.
We are BIG fans of pandan waffles and we spend a lot of time waiting and watching our friendly bakery staff make our waffles. We realised that there was an easy automated solution that we could develop.
Working with some basic user and usage research, we came up with some simple parameters that allowed us to start building some quick designs.
We are currently working to improve on the Waffletron and build 10 prototypes that we can deploy into bakeries for testing.
